I’ll never understand how anyone could think this is real. The dated special effects. The comical liftoff. The cartoonish movement. The Hollywood-like commentary. 😂

And like... So who was controlling the camera?

Like.. that tilt up is manual. So if it being joystick controlled from Earth? The delay seems like they would've been impossible. So they're inside the thing launching and remote controlling the camera with all the g forces and shit? Or?

The implausibility of the entire thing is equally ridiculous, but this footage alone is so obviously staged that I feel for anyone who has convinced themselves it could in any way be legitimate. Nothing about this depicts any sort of real life mechanics, but the personal incredulity of people being unable to reconcile the scale of the lie is what gets them.

Back in the day everything waa different. I mean, just think of the television sets, small screens, woth the clarity dependent on bunny ear antennas

Certainly it would have been more believable back then, I can definitely see that. If someone today was watching this for the first time and they believe it, they can be convinced of almost anything.

Hilarious

Rainbow sparkles at lift off?

Did someone ever explain how the moon-placed camera was tilting up to follow the "spaceship"? 😆

Remote control apparently. 🤭

Riiiiight 😆
