It's the core of their religion. Everything they hold to be true rests on it. We are a pointless creatures that are here by accident in the vastness of space on a spinning rock. Once you have this foundational lie, all the others are easy. Its the mother of all their lies.

Agreed. But today's most recent version was the India 'landing' which frankly is the same thing in today's era and arguably much funnier than this one. Still believed of course by the majority.

I think there are three issues here. If we talk about Millennials (1980-96) and GenZ (97-2012).

n the first, these we a generation raised in broken homes, high divorce rates, mothers enforcing continuous negative propaganda to the children about the divorced husband who are too young to decipher it and the rise of the internet during their formative years.

In the second completely absent parenting parents, with the only 'parenting' being the aforementioned propaganda plus a generation raised entirely behind the screens already saturated to spillover levels with adult material of every conceivable kind. 24/7

Thirdly is the forced promotion from the offset of this material and the continued 'upgrading' of it, intentionally.

You can call some vices addictions, such as smoking, drinking, gambling, drugs etc. But none of these are 'natural' in the sense that the human isn't designed to smoke. But when during formative years of the first gen young men and in the second boys are exposed to things which are 'hard wired' into their natural systems combined as mentioned with the absence (purposefully) of male role models in these times, you see why this becomes a problem which is hard to shake for most who have fallen into the trap.

Agreed. People spend way too much time copying what someone else is doing with their home, which generally is a copy of someone else's and so on and so forth. They never even take a minute to ask if they like whatever it is themselves. They just do it, so when other briefly visit they feel that they will be 'impressed' or at the very least not 'think badly' of them. Its so ridiculous. Your home should be how you want it and like you say people will comfortable if you are comfortable. Obviously you have to make an effort on the basics like it not being a complete mess. Other than that, do it how you want not how you are told.

The NPCs sleep fine, no idea how these 'people' on the panel sleep at all.

Whilst this is all true and of course very impressive and ideal, until they deal with the BIOS to allow at the very least coreboot but ideally libreboot, then it's still a no go.

How these people sleep at night, I have absolutely no idea. Sitting there spewing literal bullshit, weaving in the agenda into every line of bullshit. It's a talk about a lie with the purpose of reinforcing the lie, whilst also admitting it is a lie with the ultimate purpose of using the lie to compound a series of other lies, all the while the purpose being to keep repeating the mantras of the agenda they are enforcing. It's mind boggling.

Have a look into Dual Booting Linux, maybe go with something simple to start with like linux mint, just for starters. Its better than going down the windows in a VM option. 😉

Thank you, yes I'll have a look at the introductions too. I just searched linux and yours was the first post that came up. :)

As I'm not a gamer, I'm not familiar with Open Tibia, but I am a linux person. I'm brand new here on Nostr, but I'm liking it so far so might hang around, you can run any issues by me if you'd like, I can always have a shot at fixing them. Yes windows can run well inside Linux, with a powerful machine. You can also dual boot. So have linux and windows on the same computer. That being said the best thing to do in all honesty is just buy an old computer like a Thinkpad t430 and install linux on it to get used to it. IMO

Right, gotcha, the game server thing isn't particularly hard generally speaking but you are correct you do need a bit of practice. I would suggest if you have to possibility to try installing linux on real hardware rather than a VM as it's 2 completely different experiences entirely. You'll learn much more on the real hardware.

I think by the way that there are some distros already rolled as game servers for the pi? https://retropie.org.uk/ for example.
