I made the connection a few months ago that the OP_RETURN drama could *perhaps* be a reason for *some* of the selling pressure we've seen.

I was laughed at on twitter for even suggesting the possibility of this.

But now a few months later I've heard this discussed, mostly dismissive, but still discussed, on many podcasts.

Is it that unlikely?

By and large, when people sell, they sell because something personal is happening in their life that necessitates a sale. Ask yourself, have you ever sold anything because of a twitter dispute?
