Im trying with the one I'm on the board of. Slow progress. I basically just want them to accept btc for donations. I want to get them on NOSTR for zaps. Trying.. trying.
Nonprofits will be last unless bitcoiners are on the boards or involved in a major way.
Preservation of purchasing power is the last of their priorities
Typically they run on budgets that don't contemplate having money left over, but if you want to take the long-term view, they should be establishing a treasury for big down the road emergencies and projects, like perhaps a new building or whatever. That is where btc can really be the unlock. Another thing Ive noticed is that most people don't understand how liquid it is and how easily it is to convert to fiat if you need money fast.
