Video nerd here.

That's a 20mbit avc 1080p stream.

I'm on slow boradband and I can't stream it real-time.

Quality should look same with a hvec 2mbit stream which would be 10% of original size and stream easily.

I've already downgraded it from 4K/30 πŸ˜‚

I just using iMovie on Mac, it has a High Medium or Low setting.

I used High which created a 137MB file, if I use low it's estimating a 47MB file size.

I'm not sure if I'll get serious enough to invest in professional editing software, but I'll try the different setting to see what difference they make.

This is the low res mode (47MB)

Is this any better?

This is perfect for me. Streams real-time and has no compression artifacts! 6mbit, stick to this setting for nostr imo.

Imovie is enough for vlogging.

Davinci resolve is a video editing powerhouse and it's free. But steep learning curve and overkill for vlogging.

Looking forward to more content

Thanks πŸ™

Those high settings work well for YouTube that generates multiple streams with varying qualities and serves best one based on user's connection.

On nostr it's best to keep it small to capture more audience, imo.

What nostr client are you using?
