The never ending wars that rage

Across the globe, from sea to sea,

Bring only death and misery,

And leave a trail of broken dreams.

Why do we fight? What is our gain?

We only lose, in blood and tears.

We must put down our weapons, then,

And turn our hearts to peace instead.

There is enough for everyone

If we would only share.

Let us build a world of peace and love,

Where war is never heard of more.
