Bitcoin needs more privacy on layer one.

The privacy we are starting to get in lightning is nice, but there does need to be a way to get privacy on layer 1 like you said. I miss samourai.
BTW Nostr needs privacy outside of DMs.
Monero for when you need digital cash on layer 1
Ecash when you need custodial digital cash
Bitcoin when you need digital gold on layer 1
LN when you need to move between Bitcoin on-chain and ecash.
