I still like some things about Final Cut, but Davinci is far more powerful.
In particular, I love the Fusion node system. It’s the most intuitive UI for VFX I’ve ever used and after a couple of months I was way more comfortable with it than I was after more than a year worth After effects.
If it weren’t for having to constantly change my workflow, I’d probably still use Final Cut for simpler projects, it’s faster if you don’t want to do anything really complex. However, it increasingly feels like “iMovie Pro” and less like a serious video editing suite, especially comparing to Davinci.
