Thanks for sharing @AZA_to_₿_myself

She wrote a very good and important piece.

I have a point on the "futility" part.

I show my kids how to spot bad food from good. They know a sufficient load and I've seen them discriminate bad food and ask when in doubt.

I still can find gummi bears packaging...

But I know they know. The important part of being a part or giving someone a tip, is for that information to be encountered.

You will not fix a family in 10 minutes, but if a family is fixed, then they must have had someone say something earlier. Some thought that perhaps needed to be said first and then it took time.

So, if you have the guts to suggest a family unit something, try. Plant that seed. It may grow.

That's exactly how I see my rants on my eldest daughter. She ignores them at first. But years later I see her acting out same rant with others.

So it internalized in the end, good :-)

This is beautiful and sound advice right here šŸ”„šŸ¤ I am so glad you added this additional comment from an experiential perspective. Changing the tide with a lot of these things will require time and patience especially given the fact that the fiat food marketing machine works overtime to get people into their ecosystem and it’s also addictive. Planting these seeds may be slow at first but when they do grow the results are amazing

Wise words—thank you, Jester 😊. You’re right, we can’t fix everything overnight "in 10 mins") especially in a world drowning in garbage, noise, and propaganda. But we *can* plant seeds and lead by example through our actions. It’s not about ruthlessly cutting out every little flaw (we all have our small vices—I still grab gummy bears now and then, some old habits die hard 🫣), but it's all about awareness, conscious decisions, healthier choices, and a way of living that doesn’t eat us up from the inside, that doesn't kill us while making dishonest players rich. Life’s a journey—we’re always learning

Mistakes and tough experiences are what make us stronger, wiser, etc. When we have guides along the way (which is how I see you with your kids), we figure things out faster, with more clarity. Kudos to all you're doing šŸ¤œāš”šŸ¤›
