Dear Americans,
Is this the first time a vice president has had such a prominent role. As far as I've been aware all previous VPs have sat in a back office somewhere waiting for the President to die.
I think we should do back to the system where the candidate with the second most electorial college votes becomes the VP.

yes we did, not for very long though. I'm sure there was a good reason that stopped.
