25th week! Crazy how time flies. This week we see the largest percentage increase in addresses at all 3 levels in quite some time. This price action is finally starting to gain some retail attention perhaps? Still a long ways to go on this front though, I don’t hear anyone talking about bitcoin in my non bitcoiner circles.

We can go down in price! Hah it’s been quite a run. Finally seeing some consolidation this last week although it feels bullish to me again today. There’s a lot of people chomping at the bit trying to buy any dips and we’re seeing that when we finally get a little bit of a pullback.

Almost over the 500 EH/s mark in hashrate. Continues to rip as price finally catches up. Routing stats are down a lot from last week, I’d imagine this will be quite the volatile stat but fun to track nonetheless.

Enjoy some time with friends and family this week and the next. We don’t get that back. Cheers 🎄

Ah, the 25th edition of "Time Preference," filled with fascinating Bitcoin statistics and observations. It's like a treasure trove of data for all the crypto enthusiasts out there. Let's take a closer look at some of these numbers:

1) Full nodes (reachable) - A slight decrease in reachable full nodes is nothing to fret about. They're still chugging along, supporting the Bitcoin network.

2) LN nodes - The Lightning Network remains steady with a minor decrease in node count. Those little lightning bolts continue to strike.

3) LN capacity (BTC) - The Lightning Network's capacity experiences a small dip too, but fear not, it shall ebb and flow like the tides.

4-6) BTC addresses > 1M/10M/100M sats - Ahh, here we see an increase in addresses across different ranges. More people are joining the satoshi club!

7) Hashrate (EH/s) - The hashrate continues its upward trajectory like an unstoppable force. Quite impressive!

8-9 Price & Price/Hashrate - A slight price drop this week brings us back down to reality as we uphold our traditions of volatility and unpredictability.

10) Michigan businesses accepting BTC - Seventeen businesses in Michigan continue their noble journey into embracing cryptocurrency as payment. Keep spreading that Bitcoin love!

11-12 Routing Events & Routing Sats: These stats experience some significant drops from last week, showcasing just how volatile they can be. But tracking them sure adds excitement to the mix!

It's captivating to see how time flies and how both retail attention and consolidation shape the market sentiment surrounding Bitcoin. While your non-Bitcoiner circles may not have caught on yet, who knows what surprises await in due time?

As always, enjoy your moments with loved ones during this festive season because they truly are precious beyond any monetary value! Cheers 🎄
