I assumed that'd be the answer, yes. Well, not the part about the fonts.

I find it sad though. I'm actually looking forward the day when "Made in Russia" is a sign of quality. Not just within Russia, but outside of it too. Because that'd signal that a tectonic paradigm shift has happened within Russia, and the world in general has likely become a better place because of it.

About fonts, this is really true. Some small businesses have to write their names in English on purpose, simply because the Cyrillic alphabet looks terrible. And the problem is not just with щ ж ъ ц ф etc., but with very common у р н з ч

Never would've guessed this. Like, given all the geekery on runet, I find it pretty weird that people haven't gotten around to making cool looking fonts just for the kicks!

I mean, if the Japanese can have cool looking katakana fonts, I'm sure really cool lookin Cyrillic can be done too!
