It's here! The Pixel 9 Pro XL is such a big upgrade from the 6 Pro. I'm a big fan of the new edges and redesigned camera bump—it finally looks and feels like the flagship phone it is.

As expected, the easy data transfer wizard simply did not connect to my GrapheneOS phone. I had to set up the device as new, and now I start the process of manually moving things over.

I'm okay with that; it provides an opportunity to reassess my installed apps and remove the non-essential. Thankfully, the automatic Google Fi eSIM transfer was seamless.

I believe you can export backups of your graphene profiles and import to new setuo. I could also be wrong

Thank you. Yes, I understand that to be the case, but I've also read that even then, some things don't transfer over. That said, I always use a new phone as an opportunity to reduce accumulated digital clutter, so I would be doing a manual transfer either way.
