Just saw Artichokes blooming a few days ago for the first time. Talked to the owner and he said it had been going strong for 11years. I guess they donβt normally do that, especially in Idaho.
I have to read more about it, never seen it before too.
I stopped harvesting my artichokes because I like the beauty of the flowers more than taste of the artichokes. Although the hearts are pretty damn good.
I am not a huge fan of it, just because it is a lot of "playing" while eating, and theres not much to eat π I agree that hearts are really tasty π
