I fell into the YouTube algorithm of people converting to Catholicism.

Videos Of Alley Beth Stuckey (apparently protestant apologist YouTube Megastar arguing with prominent Catholic apologists)

I'm waiting to see the Alley Beth Stuckey video "why I'm converting to Catholicism" next.

It would be funny if the YouTube algo is causing more conversions due to some parameters some engineer set in Silicon Valley.

Like Maybe the CIA set a parameter to "radicalize people" that backfired and ended up in a black hole of Catholic conversions. Btw, are all radishes radicals?

But I get the draw to Catholicism. I was hanging out in a park and a young guy comes over and invited me to play Frisbee. I asked him what meetup group he was organizing. He said, we are from St. Mary's down the street.

He then advertised the fact they have a big organ, which is definitely a draw for me as a organ/piano music lover. And I walked past the ornate atone building which looks older than any other in the city.

It's a lot simpler to say ,"I'm Catholic" nowadays than to say, "I'm trying to be a follower of Jesus, and of the type that holds traditional values". Especially since I'm breaking this fact to many gay friends, and I don't want to offend them so much.

So it's easier to just say"Catholic" and let them look up the doctrine of the church to realize they prob shouldn't invite me to ...

After all getting sprinkled seems like less of a commitment than a "baptism". Being a Maxi wrt religion seems antithetical.

Next video I will prob see is " how the YouTube algo drive me to celibacy"
