Just got to hold in there. I actually really like my job but it now feels like a mean to an end rather than a purpose. Hopefully bitcoin will release people to have the freedom to do what they really want. I guess a lot will have too much fun and spend their stack, so maybe a job of some kind is good for removing that temptation. I guess starting a business is an idea but that’s probably even more risky. We will find out soon enough 👍🏼

Yeah I'm actually quitting in two weeks! I've been inspired to write cypherpunk/bitcoin and related themes fiction. Ambition is to write a book at some point, but will start with shorter stories and idea is to monetize some with unlocking them with lightning payments per story. Might have to spend some stack, or actually loan against some of that so I don't have to sell right now, but I'm at a point where I want and feel like I need to lazer focus on this. Translation work at Konsensus Network will start soon to yield tiny amounts - any income from a passion is a plus.
At least you like the job! That's a good place to be even if you're still searching for a more meaningful work.
