Would you rather use 1 parent seed and 2 BIP85 child seeds, 3 BIP85 seeds, or 1 seed and 3 unique passphrases?

Great question. My preference goes to 1 seed and (3) passphrases, I think that's the best option for the individual. Actual multisig is a bit overkill imo unless you're a company or a collective.

You talking about separating funds across 3 different single sig wallets separated by pass phrases, or an actual 2/3 multisig?

Different single sig wallets (+ some decoys maybe). This is admittedly not as secure as multisig but it's enough for me to feel safe (for now) + a lot easier for inheritance purposes in case something were to happen to me suddenly.

What if you randomly generated 3 or 4 words for each passphrase? Feels like that's decently strong against brute force...
