Until a few years ago in litigation you could get an advantage in discovery if you refused to use email and got your shit faxed to you. The rules treated email and faxes differently so you got more time to respond.

Those things never worked for me. Especially printers. Fuck those things. They’re always low on ink. My printer is an asshole. Even when I put new ink in, it still says ink is low.
