There should be no real shame in failure while doing, especially learning a new thing.

I literally tell my children this. It's okay to fail. Failure gives us a chance to grow. Growth is good! Failure doesn't overly matter. What matters is what you do after you fail.
ππ« youβre a brilliant dad, D π«π«π«π«π« you and Katie are amazing parents, I can tell
Thank you. We're not perfect and make mistakes ourselves but we try and care a lot π«

Nothing like the thwack of a leather work belt to return your feet to the straight and narrow pathβ¦or having to pick your own switch from the golden bell bushβ¦
I never had to experience either of those, fortunately...
I mean, I totally earned it lol I was a fuckin hellspawn demon child, red headed and all. Now I got two red headed children of my own lol
Failure.
A prerequisite to success.
Never failing is a prerequisite to being Alexander the Great.
Nobody is Alexander so get used to failing π

Alexander died super young. Epic fail
He also burned down the palace in ancient Persepolis in a drunken stupor, for which he was ashamed. Then let his soldiers ravage Persepolis after a peaceful surrender, causing the populace to hate the Macedonians.
Then let his empire get ripped apart cause he didnβt name anyone to be the successor, apparently.
That sounds like winning still π€£
majority of businesses fail within few years. still it's better to try then end up in fiat mines
Failing=learning
It also means no participation trophy.
Therein lies the fear of a coddled people to never try.
