If you're in a funk from grief, especially bereavement, there's one thing I'm asking you to go do this week.

Get a massage.

Something simple, doesn't require a big effort on your part, puts you in a position to receive, and calms your inner turmoil for just long enough to remember what peaceful is like.

I went today and while I'm not in a dark place now I remembered when I was and what a difference this made. Take a step out of the dark cave today.

Once you have some momentum then doing other things like lifting weights, changing diet, starting new hobbies, thinking about your purpose, exploring new places or relationships etc gets easier. I'm talking about jump-starting the drained battery in the first place.
