hardly any computer control and the frames were more solid. More about the computer stuff though.

I always thought that computers came with electronic fuel injection which was around 1985. I'm thinking more EMP situation. Regardless of ones thoughts on the possibility of that scenario. 😉

You’re right. Fuel injection does use computer control but it doesn’t “have” to. Mercedes made a fuel injection pump that was mechanical.

Still, I’m worried about more egregious computer infestations that allow engines turning off, de/accelerating etc. by remote. FI computers from the late 1900’s aren’t all that susceptible.
