Really? How's that? Maybe I'm missing something...I thought that DMs were encrypted and only visible to the intended sender/recipient. Maybe I've completely missed something.
Only the message content is encrypted: sender, recipient and timestamp are visible to everyone.

many solutions to this were discussed months ago, i am surprised an implementation is not out there
Thanks for clarifying! Definitely better than plain text obviously. I still think it's a valuable feature.
