Think of it this way - if you saw a very well crafted photo of the result. Many would probably stop to consider how it was made and appreciate the characteristics of the composition. I don’t think it’s remotely controversial to say that.

My first thought was of the audience. The gasps and muffled shouts— people aren’t used to witnessing even this low level of danger or loud noise in real life, incredible.
A cursory read of Signer’s work on wikipedia says his focus is on engineering destruction, includes elements of humor, takes an experimental lab approach.
Should be right in line with appreciating the folly of trying to engineer the fiat economy 🤙
