If I shared a personal story about my day on Twitter, I’d get crickets. Here people actually respond.
Nostr is for actual socializing. Twitter is a transactional network. Everyone has a dollar sign on their forehead and nobody actually gives a f about anyone.
Twitter is for tweeting! Lone birds all over the place just making random sounds with no reply. 🐶🐾🤣
Interesting. I actually see a surprising amount of that here too. People posting Bitcoin/freedom slogans out into the ether. I took it as virtue signaling and maybe an effect of the openness of nostr, it’s so open and unalgorthymed people might not know how to connect.

It’s true - everyone seems to be a self made Twitter millionaire at least when reading through Twitter feed. I guess everyone should cancel their 9-5 and just start posting on Twitter.. 🙄

Makes me want to say that how we choose to interact with each other on this public square is where the real value of nostr lies.
Nip-xyz, zaps, and other technological features are nice-to-have, important, but secondary.
I think not having algos is a huge part of it but it could also just be due to size (small). Who knows, maybe it all changes some day 🤷♂️
Most are busy only pushing their favorite politics and don't care what others have to say about it.
Only sone actually have ever responded to a comment I made.😄
