I am patient and I try to explain it again and again, but my family, my friends, my coworkers, my wife... they don't understand bitcoin or nostr or why they matter.

They think it's cool that I built a thing that people like but they don't understand it.

My wife supports me. And for that I am grateful. But working on the cutting edge can be lonely. It can make you feel estranged. Crazy. Misunderstood.

I know I'm not alone.

Being part of #NostrHack was a powerful reminder of this. Connecting with other like-minded creators is edifying.

Let's support each other. Especially in small ways:

We have the flame. A small breath from outside can stoke it into an inferno.
