Here is the fantastic Blue Velvet (1985).

This dark, violent, hilarious, terrifying, mysterious noir has lost none of its power. It takes us from nostalgia to horror, from suburban gardens, to dreamy nightclubs; there is a severed human ears, psychopathic criminals, Roy Orbison’s dreamy voice, and Frederick Elmes's drifting camera and his kaleidoscopic use of color. And then there’s Frank….

OMG 🤩 an amazing choice. Let’s also watch at least Mulholland drive and Elephant man. Not now all at once 😀 but maybe during the year. I hope David Lynch can live at least till 100. He is one of the best humans ever.

We love Lynch too, so yes, we’ll definitely get to all his films at some point!

I listened to an interview he did a few days ago where he talked about his collaborations with composer Angelo Badalamenti — I’ll add the link. He just seems so lovely and generous, and obviously his movies are incredible.
