I went from WoS (huge thanks to them) to my own node in the matter of months. WoS is great, and I’ll always love them for helping me start. πŸΆπŸΎπŸ«‚πŸ’œ nostr:note1x9jxx7t9c8tht8t2vujcy9znte5dpyl7vt4sqnsag64guymywyksst8ayg

Of all the random servers I've deployed, I've yet to operate my own node. Are there any FOSS apps that let you connect to it for mobile management of wallet?

how did you get inbound liquidity? buy channels?

I use my own node for zaps but my outbound capacity dwarfs my inbound and therefore I still use WoS with nostr πŸ€”

Magma on Amboss, LNBig, Deezy.io or ask other plebs to open channel to you 🐢🐾🫑

imo the great and important thing is that this is possible. The network is open and there are options for everybody.

Start with some service, migrate to another one, run your own node, etc. you do not have any lock in and and you can easily change, learn and grow.

This imo is the important and great thing (and also why I push for interoperability on any level).

This is the way.
