Lightning isn't bitcoin. You are basically using a shitcoin pegged to bitcoin. You might as well start understand that neither options is private.

Everyone can see your transactions, especially those who enforce taxes on you.

Lightning is more like a clearing house layer tho? Not meant to replace on chain settlement, just complement it and allow for faster transactions (e.g. instant arb between markets)
