I setup a core lightning node yesterday. I have an open channel but any time to try to pay an invoice it fails. This is the second channel this is happening on. I have CLN version 24.8.0.1 installed on nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll. Below is an example of the error I am seeing. Any ideas? #asknostr

Oh shit, I don't have a burner number. I have a channel open with Boltz. I think it's a pretty well connected node.
Boltz doesn't route payments. You open a channel to the Boltz node to harvest fees from people using the Boltz service. It's not a public routing node. It's an atomic swap node.
It's the same with Robosats. Their coordinator's don't route payments. You open a channel to a coordinator to harvest fees from users of that service.
Go to amboss.space and search for the nostrich tag. Nodes with that tag are nostr friendly have no base fee making it possible to send small zaps without high fees. That's the type of nodes you want to open a channel to.
