Been tinkering with it since they put it up yesterday! I have a prototype Nostr client in mind that also integrates Bluesky and Mastodon profiles into things like user search and trending users.

That's actually where I started building on this cross platform concept! For example, if you follow the #baking topic on Agora, you'll see posts from the /r/baking sub-reddit from here: nostr:npub1pfmfh659qjdl44e3ydh8td8pefvccv5kfw4jsxfjpf8p6hcflg2scm0jel

wow Andrew, it look great - I had no idea Agora could do this. I mean, i love baking so this just made me happier - but that aside, absolutely incredible seeing post from Reddit arranged just the way a Nostr post is, I could not tell the difference. This is like a big townhall happening. I love it
So what happens if I comment on a Reddit post? It goes on Reddit? And if it does, will it auto-create an account there?
Right now it only mirrors subreddit posts over to Nostr, if you comment on a post that comment is only on Nostr.
The only bridging service that supports what you're describing (so far) is the very awesome mostr.pub mastodon <-> nostr bridge.

I don't know if i want an account created in other places because too much to manage - it could be an option for ppl though. People may want some slight indication of where diff consolidation of posts comes from. But I love it. Can't wait to see how this grows

This is very cool. The thing that excites me most about Bluesky is the way y’all are embracing open source and the developer ecosystem (I know you did a lot of that at Twitter too - Finagle and Finatra are awesome).

It's really annoying having to wait. I wonder how many people are put off by this type of waiting list nonsense that everyone now seem to be following.
It's not ready yet. If they open for public now, ppl will be disappointed at how primitive and useless it is and leave before it starts. They're building up, so when it's good and ready, they can offer the world an app worth their time. But enen then, I doubt that it'll be as good as nostr, but it will have Jack and with good advertising(something nostr lacks), it will be a home like Twitter once was, you know before Elon.
I love the approach , it’s a fundamental part of organic growth, creating patterns that link everyone from anywhere to each other for anything. #Nostr turned my ocean from Red to Blue and I’m learning to surf because the sharks are all gone, there is nothing left to fear. The gentle language "we don't have time for you" so "fork off" is not exactly welcoming of a vibrant and collaborative open source community.
What's with the invites? Been following blue sky for at least 2 years. Can't register, can't use.. (Pc/android & Baltic State resident).No email from waitlist.
