Anyone else having trouble zapping with Alby and Amethyst? Some accounts I can zap, no problem. Others I get a msg about not being able to make LN Invoice, or something like that. #asknostr

Sounds more like a problem with the recipient.
What are the recipient lightning address?

I get it a lot. Amethyst with munity can't zap

Follow up: The accounts I am unable to zap all seem to have WOS. Havent gone back to check all of them, but that seems to be a commonality.

Damus never fails, Amethyst most of the times either fails silently, or displays a message pointing at recipient's problem - something like 'I can't fetch the invoice'. Managed to zap with Amethyst maybe a couple of times. In my case it might be that Amethyst don't have necessary permissions (can't store or process the invoice). I couldn't figure out exactly what that is. IDK, but will try to find that out.
Also Alby recently stopped to sign up new users. To get an account you need an invitation. I sometimes use Zeus to access Alby and recently the service has been failing a bit.
Summing it up it needs some more tests to say π―% where the problem is in my case.
Thank you for the input. Still not consistent, but i can sometimes still zap wos accts. by clicking on address first, then zap. I have noticed that single click zaps dont work if i am sending to wos.
Is there a pattern of which lightning address don't work for you?
Are you using Amethyst via tor?

The majority of addresses are wos, using the amethyst, alby, with nwc. Wos i cannot zap using the 1 click zap. But i found that if i go to acct directly, and click on the wos address, i can usually send a zap that way. But on non wos addresses, it usually goes thru with 1 click feature, but very slow, and sometimes i dont see a verification.
