#lineageos is really great. a 2016 Tablet running LOS19/ #Android 12 with #Security patches 20240205. Still have 2 of them daily and using the setup of my blog both are really fast too.

Just be aware that the patch date is an editable string and LineageOS misleads by doing so. The patch date should only be updated like this when the full patches are applied and not just backports etc
Only devices on Android 14 have full security patch level and then only devices fully supported by the OEM for firmware and driver updates too.
I'm not informing you of this for any other reason other than you mentioning it and not wanting you to have a false sense of security, excuse the pun.
LineageOS do a fine job of maintaining older devices to breathe fresh life into them but it is neither private nor secure and should not be used for sensitive or mission critical data if this is important to you.
