Still surprised that it look like the people simply install Apps of products they buy? Even Chinese ones. Nobody cares about security?

I need dashcams for 2 cars with motion detection in park mode. Now one has to filter out the ones requiring a App to setup/operate. Really sick. We need a website listing products working without Internet and Apps.

I think I will add an Dashcam for the bike too. But here, because they are very small, the App problem is worse thean on the car ones...

#lineageos is really great. a 2016 Tablet running LOS19/ #Android 12 with #Security patches 20240205. Still have 2 of them daily and using the setup of my blog both are really fast too.
