how do you work?

my work flow is just solving whatever my biggest problem is that day, and proactively speculating & addressing future problems now.

if it takes 8 hours great, if it takes 30 minutes move onto the next problem. but I need that daily breakthru, regular 10%+ iterative value add to feel like I’m contributing.

somedays the path is clear, somedays it’s clouded with nonsense calls. I try to keep a clear calendar so I can actually work, and where possible say no to or ignore everything and everyone that isn’t a decisive improvement to what I’m building.

people around me are sometimes frustrated with this process, but can’t replicate the results or the efficiency, because their minds and time are clouded with reporting, status games, growth strategy, hopping on meetings or other problem-avoidant activities.

usually work in sprints of 1.5-3 hours then just go do something else outside, meditate, eat, another sprint later when my mind is clear. sometimes get obsessed and end up sprinting all night if the problem is interesting enough.

how do you do it?

Similar.

Write Down the must do list, label in order of priority 1, 2, 3 etc.

Quickly scan emails, red flag any critical problems and add to list.

Cancel meetings, accept only those that are critical.

Then chew through list starting at priority 1.

I have a call protocol wiith my team, call me once if no answer I will call back later. If they call twice in a row I know its critical.and they need urgent help. Works well.

great system

This - and Teams always on yellow/ appear away, never green

i thought no one on nostr is working except me lol.

I'm always doing what's most strategically important && urgent and trying to ignore the noises and nonsense meetings.

on task handling and team working, leverage as much resources around me as possible and preallocate their time and effort to work for my/common goals in advance. be aggressive, focus on the job itself instead of relationship, make good use of escalation if things not doing right, i don't give a damn if he's a manager or director.

Grind 1 to 3 days of 6 hrs at work doing carpentry on a project that inspires me. (No shit gigs) Fuck everything else go surf, family, play, fish, nap.

Easy

Ain't no buddy got time for that.

i aspire to be you

💛

You can do it!

I believe in you.

what are you working on?

building a bitcoin 24/7 news & media company & a bitcoin denominated stock exchange

I currently act when the baby cries or her mother needs something 😅

beautiful

It feels like the best job I ever had

Work 90 minutes, walk a mile-ish outside, repeat forever.

The cycle feels good, only thing I expect to change is what I'm working on
