I honestly don't know. I mean, it's technically solvable, but they can't possibly expect people to bust out a calculator and compute daily interest for them. Only solution would be to slightly overpay and hope to someday get a return check for a couple dollars probably.

Another thing I recommend everyone do is see if your state is holding money for you that you might not be aware of. They are legally required to set aside any unclaimed funds from insurance plans, brokerages, or other financially regulated companies, but they don’t generally send out notices. You have to search their database for your name. I’ve gotten back a pretty good chunk of change this way a few times.
Funny you should mention. Got such a notice about a month ago. Amount not specified, and action by June or it goes to some other silo. Only action option was to email someone. It's been a month and no reply. Prob like 100 bucks, but now I'm motivated to follow up. Thanks for reminder!
