was considering running my own for friends. i just barely got people on signal though, probably can't try to move them to my xmpp for at least a couple years lol

yeah its seems unlikely

but its really the most sensible thing to use

I would 100% prefer to drag people onto XMPP rather than signal, if it had an extremely high quality client on every major platform
