Got a buddy who isn't too tech-savvy, wants to move his corn into cold storage. Was going to do Tails (electrum) on a USB, but...I wonder if something like Sparrow + a SeedSigner might be better for him?

Sparrow is fantastic. SeedSigner is nice, but they've gotten pricey to build. block stream Jade is still pretty inexpensive to purchase and you can use it as a stateless device for signing similar to SeedSigner.
Using their blind oracle is also nice and super convenient to use.
What is the blind oracle? I'm looking at picking a couple of these up for myself and my parents to use
I was going to try and explain, but figured I would botch the job.
It's what allows Block stream's jade to use a pin on the device to securely unlock your private key. You can find some other explanations on YouTube. they were helpful for me to understand. personally, I've chosen to use it the jade as a stateless signing device, but that's just me.
