that's basically what I'm doing but hear me out, 4h per day, 4 days.

it's great that this is enough for you and you can live well with it 🫂💜

It's not like I haven't worked towards this my friend. I've done many years in catering grinding 12-14 hours shifts, 3 months flat, no days off. At my age I deserve to slow down a little.

gastronomy and kitchen are tough places 🫂

That’s awesome man. I think I’m a fan, cuz why should we all need to live like wagecucks working our lives away?

Yeah. Life gets a lot cheaper if you live a simpler one. I think it comes with age too (and with a few sats behind you)

Same, but I probably am working another 4 hours per day on my farm

Will collapse most western socialist countries

On one hand I’m thinking this sounds like fiat degeneracy. Other the other People back in the day didn’t work 9-5 mon-Friday. Most civilizations in history required a person to only have to work a few hours a day (tending to the garden, milking the cows, etc) to live comfortably. Conflicted

On the other*

No, I prefer a 7 day work week

Primo!

3 day weekend every week

The previous company where I worked you could do more hours from Monday to Thursday and finish at noon on Friday. Nice to have a longer weekend

I'll be going down to 60% in the next year or so. Work is a shitcoin.

Don't be lazy.

The argument for a 4 day work week is that people are less lazy during those 4 days so you work hard during those days and then get off 3.

"Banking hours" logic

It's a pretty tough ask but I think I could work up to it.
