I’ve noticed that it’s responses are also nudged towards flattery. I genuinely wonder how many people are enamored with it subconsciously because it’s schmoozing them.

I can tell you, majority. AI companies track usage and tweak nobs to get maximum engagement. They are not trying to make it better, they are trying to make it more engaging. Quality and truth are not important to them, they make a product that sells

lol! They are not mistakes by any means, they are tried and true approach to generation of their own wealth. They are not in it for progress, only for the money and power

Reminds me of the Jack Welch approach to management. Worked until it didn’t.
