Winter is coming; have you built your nostr:npub1lrjgpa9m2dl6esdah5pq7m005ymwh4glq4aet76q2zlz2f83esfsa2zvrj S9 miner space heater, yet? I just finished my second (yellow one on the left). CC's kit comes with case, adapters for upgraded fans, and screws, and their pdf has a complete shopping list with idiot-proof instructions. Plus the kits are on sale for 20 bucks off right now:

These things are modern, sexy, and wife approved! nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev gets full credit for making me ask myself how can I heat my home while stacking sats. I also totally recommend nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8' tutorial for expert step-by-step assembly instructions.

Become a home miner this winter, get paid sats while heating your home, and add to the #Braiins Pool hashrate to help secure the Bitcoin network.

I'm in Alaska and just got an s9 for this purpose, although I'm going to be doing the full build myself.

I've got the bare s9 with new phantek T30s warming my feet now. Running at 750 watts and getting almost 10 TH/s (approx 79 W/Ths) it's about the same noise level as my previous heater and using less electricy so it's basically free sats.

I still need to swap out the psu fan, and then it will be even quieter.

And then 3D printing the case, assuming I can get my printer to do it right in less that 10 tries 😅
