Also, regarding bitcoin, I'm guessing you were trying to help shield your friends and family from inflation, not really doing it for ngu.

With nostr I don't see the point of pumping early adoption by normies.. Otoh, early adoption by parties fighting for freedom against censorship, tyranny etc. makes perfect sense.

I think you’re correct in promoting a protocol without NGU (which in itself is a self-promoting feature) is very difficult and in the long run, not the way to go.
