"Your external reality is a projection of your light shining through this lens. If you're not experiencing joy from this realm, it might be time to examine what distortions are on your lens."
i agree with you to a degree and in a certain context...
is that always right though?
not trying to bring anyone down or anything cuz god forbid, supposing your loss of peak levity would have you checkin' yo self for flaws n sheeet - yet i still dont see this Goddardish rehash jivin' with, say, the folks in gaza rn...
ever read Easy Meat by Mcgloughlin? theres another group of young women there who I'll bet are super thirsty to hear how their less than pleasant time having their 12-year old tongues nailed to tables by paki invaders who just got done passing her and 200,000 other young girls around to their uncles and brothers... how it was all a reflection of how they feel inside - im not so sure this sage wisdom would find an outlet there.
and hey - next time, from up there, on your perch, perhaps you could spare a teaspoon of your elevated position and ample joy to react to my original paraphrase of the bill hicks joke with a sense of humor, or, i dunno, levity ?
but thats the thing with all of this shit huh? somehow the sense of humor is always the first to go... and with it theres yet another level of ego categorization anyhow, which tends to divide at the precise point where communion could occur, and joy, gained from a shared sense of the common suffering.
