When you ask a stranger to explain something to you or to educate you, you are asking for their time, attention and expertise. On social media, you're probably not offering to pay for these resources.

- Respect other people

- Look it up before you ask.

- Look for an answer in the comments before you ask.

- Are you asking for an explanation of a joke? Don't.

- If you must ask, phrase your question as a request, not a demand.

- Recognize that not all posts are for you. You can move on, it's okay.
