I can't recall for sure, but I don't think I've ever reposted any of my posts. Once I get something off my chest I'm satisfied. I don't really care about reach I guess, nor do I want to come off as annoying, repetitive, or pushy. I've stopped following people who repost a lot.
I think it's acceptable to repost some high quality replies since those get almost no visibility in most clients.
