Handwritten Letters!

What do people think of the idea of letters as a service?

I've drafted a price list but I would like to see if anyone would be interested in this as a service. This could mostly be aimed at others who make or craft things to sell but I'm sure others might find a use for it as well.

These could be letters of authenticity, an add-on to another offering, invitations etc.

Let me know if you have any thoughts! I would love some feedback on the idea.

I think there is a longing for more beautiful, analog things.

I see notes about old lampposts, woodworking, vinyl records.

Everything in our lives is so sterile.

I almost feel that I don't deserve the thoughtfully made things of the past, as I have barely been exposed to these things throughout my life.

Sealing wax nice touch 👍🏼

I love the idea. Is the assumption that people will not take the time to do it themselves and/or maybe aren't good at it?

I posted this the other day as I believe wholeheartedly in the power of a written note:

Two of my favorite ways to ensure my employees (and others) know I care about them:

1. MMFI -I have this on a small post it note on my laptop. It stands for Make Me Feel Important. That could be a vendor, customer, or an employee. It's just a small, simple reminder to me to encourage others.

2. Two handwritten notes a month to random associates letting them know what they mean to me and the company and how they are making a positive impact on our business.

The assumption is like any service.

People who don't wish to do so or people who feel they can't for lack of time or ability may make use of this. Additionally, people who wish for something in bulk that they do not have the time or desire to do could also make use of this.

I'll likely come up with a higher quality sample, and as my skill increases I'll be able to offer better or more complex offerings.

Anyways, someone had asked me so I thought I would throw the idea out there and see if I got a response or two on it.

It's a fantastic idea...seriously. Give it a 100% and see what you get, especially if you enjoy it. Looking forward to following your success with it 🙂

You're my new favorite person. Thank you for your enthusiasm!
