I thought I knew what tired felt like.

Then I spent 6 hours in an airport and 2 hours on the tarmac with a baby only to take 3 more hours to taxi back, get luggage, and end up back home 🥲

40 planes ahead of us on the runway and they said staff couldn’t work any more hours and plane was low on fuel after all the waiting HAHAHAHAHAHA

What a nightmare! 😢

By 1am when I saw the carseat not latching in the rickety taxi cab I started crying hahahaha

Car seat!

In my day we chucked the baby in the trunk, next to the spare can of gas 😂

Yeah in a 1970s FORD PINTO 🤣💥🔥

Absolute nightmare. Sounds liek they need to cut you a check.

Oh no, sorry to hear that experience! I remember when we took our twins to Bolivia to meet wife’s family… the altitude at the 1 hour layover in Peru was rough and by the time we made it to Viru Viru airport, Caleb had thrown up on all 3 outfits we had with us and not in checked bags!

When we finally hooked up with family, he was in pink (at 22 months old…) since his sister’s clothes were the only clean ones left. What a rough trip! 🥴😂 I hope you can at least look back later and roll your eyes and chuckle with a bit more temporal distance… 🤪😁

Let me guess .... American Airlines?

Oooof 🫂

Hi carla 🏴‍☠️🤟😉 That sounds less like a trip and more like a survival challenge. Endurance, patience, and sheer willpower congrats on making it through!

travel is overrated
