really?

like as in

ecash is a stress tested network that has been attacked, vulnerabilities found and improved?

is there even a list of businesses in the wild that accept ecash?

its cool and all

but I feel like we're getting ahead of ourselves

Absolutely RE vulnerabilities and iteration

As for payments, I don’t think it’s realistic for companies to accept the IOUs especially when users can burn them to pay over Lightning. Maybe it will happen though with some business accepting tokens only from select trusted mints, but I don’t see it being widespread

I find it really hard to believe that a protocol that isnt widely adopted IRL can be considered stress tested.

but I'm not familiar with the details so ok.

Monero has failed every stress test so far.

It costs 9k euros to spam the network with ~7x the TX count for a month.

And the average user noticed not at all.

Ordinals had a bigger effect on the actual usage of Bitcoin

and lets be honest,

you have no idea where that 9k euro figure comes from.

valid transactions aren't spam
