#bitaxe users, do you ever turn your miners off?
I suppose a more accurate question would be, how long do the fans last? It’s the only moving part and will have to be replaced at some point, I’m just trying to get an idea of the fan’s longevity and if there’s anything I can do to extent it’s life. Thank you.

Mine is on full time, but the noctua cooling fan setup on this BitAxe gamma is really well thought out. Rather than dragging the airflow directly through the asic, it draws the air sideways over cooling fins on top of it. The board itself never gets impure air pulled through it to accumulate dust. I’m sitting at 5 months 4 days since my last reboot when I shuffled my computer desk around and had to power down my miner and my start9.
