if someone was looting my home and I shot them, I would be investigated and likely let go because someone violated my property rights. That’s still “due process”
If people really understood how our judicial sysem worked (all should go watch a trial, it's open to the public) you'd question whether innocent until proven guilty means what the words suggests--it doesn't.
