I wish I could sign notes with some kind of yubikey type device

I'm almost certain my nsec will be stolen one day, I've pasted it into too many apps at this point

You can. It's how we manage the nostr:nprofile1qqsvwcwuwcwmucx3s7dfs54m49h7uclw4vxh8ygu25m9chk0ypy5ngspzdmhxue69uhhwmm59e6hg7r09ehkuef0xlzhgv nsec.

Though you'll be limited to using nostr web clients AFAIK.
